Introduction & aim: Breast cancer is one of the common cancers in many countries that Reduces self-efficacy. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Religious-spiritual education on self-efficacy of women with breast cancer. Methods: This experimental study was conducted in women with breast cancer referred health centers in Qom, Iran in 2017. Among them, 40 women with breast cancer who had inclusion criteria were selected through convenience sampling and randomly assigned to intervention (n = 20) and control groups (n = 20). For the intervention group, 6 sessions of Religious-spiritual education were conducted, Demographic information and general self-efficacy questionnaire of Sherer et al were used as tools of research. The subjects completed the questionnaires before the intervention, immediately after the intervention and two months after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the SPSS software version21. Results: According to the results of the study, the studied groups had the same demographic and underlying characteristics.Based on the results of the study, there was a significant difference between the mean score of self-efficacy immediately and two months after the intervention (0.001) in the intervention group compared to the control group. Conclusion: Therefore, Religious-spiritual education has been affected on self-efficacy in women with cancer. Therefore, the design and implementation of this programs widely and based on the educational and support needs of patients
