Introduction & Aim: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women in the world. VEGF gene is one of the most important angiogenic and endogenous regurgitation factors. The gene is on the chromosomal area of 6P21.3 and is used to form vascular networks and Endothelial cells and matrix decomposition and formation of vascular networks, as well as nitric oxide production and its release Materials and Method: In this study, 110 women with breast cancer confirmed by pathologist from West Azarbaijan province and 110 healthy blood and blood samples from this province were included in this study. DNA extraction using salt ethanol sedimentation method was used and for sequencing proliferation the using PCR method to determine the type of genotype using RFLP method and with the help of shear enzymes. Results: The mean age of the patients was 51 ± 12 years and the healthy group was 50 ± 8 years. The genotype AA, AT and TT 206 A / T polymorphism in the VEGF gene was 17%, 29% and 54%, indicating a meaningful relationship There is a recessive homozygous genotype with the incidence of breast cancer (P = 0.001) (OR = 3.19 CL 95% = 1.17 - 11.28) Also, 19% of women in the group used contraceptive pills during their lifetime, which can be considered as one of the factors that increases the expected mutation rate Also, the incidence rate of this polymorphism in women with high age was increasing (P <0.005). Conclusion Based on the results, 206 A / T polymorphisms of VEGF gene can be used as a factor in the pre-breast cancer in women.
