Thermal behavior of Finemet amorphous melt-spun ribbons were studied using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) method in continuous heating regime. The crystallization behavior was investigated using X-ray Dffraction and Scaning Electron Microscopy. The results show that a nanocrystalline structure with 11 nm average crystallite size has been formed by annealing at 540◦C for 1 hr. The crystallization sequences were amorphous→α-FeSi+amorphous→α- FeSi+Fe2B+ Fe23B6+Fe3.5B+NbB2.
