Abstract:
The purpose of this study is finding mixture designs involving micro-silica- and nano-silica particles to produce the high-strength powdered concert. Subsequently, by considering the total cost of manufacturing for each mixture, the optimum state will be determined. In this regard, concrete samples of ten mixture designs with various ratios of sand to binder (involving cement, micro-silica- and nano-silica particles) have been provided. According to the results, by increasing the weight percentage of micro- and nano-silica the compressive strength has considerably increased. Moreover, the samples related to the higher ratio of sand to binder have gained the bigger long-term compressive strength.
