Abstract:

simple and rapid analytical method development for Tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ)determination infood samples by using different voltametric techniques such as cyclic voltametry (CV), choronoAmprometry (CA), differencial pulse voltametry (DPV) on ZnO/CNTs nanocomposite ionic liquidmodified carbon paste electrode. For this, several parameters, such as ZnO/CNTs nanocomposite, ionicliquid ratio, and pH, scan rate, diffiusion index and the others have been studied. The cyclicvoltammogram showed an irreversible oxidation peak at 0.2 V (vs.Ag/AgClsat), which corresponded tothe oxidation of TBHQ.Compared to common carbon paste electrode, the electrochemical response wasgreatly improved. Under the optimizedconditions, the oxidation peak current of TBHQ showed lineardynamic range 0.09–750 μmol l−1 with a detectionlimit of 0.05 μmol l−1, using the differencial pulsevoltamrty method. The proposed sensor was successfully applied to the determination of TBHQ in oil andoil samples with previous preparation and was compared with a published electrochemical method, finallystatistic analysis confirm the high sensivity and good selectivity of sensor.
