Modified Best-Worst Method Integrated with Rough Set Theory for Supplier Selection Problem

This paper concern with a modified version of Best-Worst Method (BWM) based on rough set theory for a supplier selection problem. Supplier selection problem is very significant for supply chain coordination and optimization. Uncertainty is inevitable in modeling elements of supplierselection problem. Thus, we made use of rough set theory being a helpful concept to handle uncertainty. On the other hand, BWM is very efficient in attributes evaluation having less computational efforts. The integrated approach is verified in a numerical example. The results are useful for better supplier selection and also as a generic model, can be expanded to other selection problems.
