Shahriar is, among others, one of the contemporary poets, whose regret of the lost past is seen in his poetry, which is rooted in his personal emotions. This research studies the nostalgia (yearning for the past and the homesickness) in Shahriyar’ Heydar baba, and highlights its salient features, aspects and representations as nostalgia for childhood, homeland, village etc., based on his poetic evidence. Shahriyar is a poet whose love for mankind and the love of nature and love for all the phenomena of nature flared in him, the role of nostalgia in his poetry is very impressive. Due to the love of all the phenomena of the universe, during his lifetime, in the rejection of childhood memories, he suffers from his own loneliness, and with his poems he regretted the past and wished to live in the past, And as a result of these feelings, it creates a world-renowned work that deserves consideration.
