Abstract:

In the current literature, heat transfer in the radial direction of a cylinder has been analyzed by two different methods. First, the geometry of the proposed system has been modeled and then the solution has been achieved by the Finite Element Method. Second, the nonlinear partial differential equation governing on the mentioned system has been investigated by a new method which is called AGM. In this case study, AGM has been compounded by Laplace transform theorem in order to convert the partial differential equation governing on the aforementioned system to an ODE and then the yielded equation has been solved conveniently by this new approach. Comparisons have been made between the mentioned approach and the Numerical Method (RKF45) to check the precision of the presented method. And also, the obtained results by the Finite Element Method and AGM indicate that the introduced method (AGM) is very efficient and easy so it can be applied for other kinds of nonlinear problems. With regard to the aforementioned explanations, the process of solving the nonlinear equation(s) will be very easy and convenient in comparison with the others.
