Effect of organic and inorganic matters on fouling in nanofiltration membranes

In this paper we have tried to review all effective factors on inorganic and organic fouling during nanofiltration process. There are some factors such as ionic strength, pressure, temperature, membrane roughness, concentration polarization, PH, divalent cations etc. that play important role in organic/inorganic fouling. We will see increasing or decreasing fouling dramatically By a little changing factors above. However, it is important to know natural organic matters(NOM) influence on membrane fouling more than inorganic substances. Also, membrane properties is effective on fouling as equal as inorganic and organic matters
