Abstract:

Robotics is an essential part in manufacturing processes automatization. Concerning mobile robots, autonomous navigation entails a great challenge. In this paper, a new approach for solving smart mobile robots path planning in unknown environments, based on an optimized Bee colony algorithm is proposed that have been used to Off-line path planning. The proposed ABC will optimized the fuzzy rules’ parameters that have been used to On -line navigation in unknown environments. In this research, there is a proposed evaluation function, accordingly, the found path is smoother, cleaner and shorter length than previous studies done by other algorithms. In this study, the ABC is combined with fuzzy rules, this algorithm is compared with each other. The performance of proposed algorithm in the execution speed and the number of occurrences for obtaining the optimal path in various unknown and complex environments have been evaluated via MATLAB simulation methods. Obtained result from comparing the performance of these algorithm developed optimization algorithms for mobile robots navigation.
