Abstract:

Psychological issues are important at different levels of human life. This issue requires a deeper insight into childhood and teen, which is the stage of development of a person s personality. The memories and events of the period of study, whether good or bad, remain in the unconscious minds of the person and show up in life at different times. Therefore, the current paper focuses on the subject of anxiety and tries to study the role of space architecture in anxiety to improve the quality of schools and improve the level of education, as well as to provide a model for the proper design of space. The current paper is to determine the environmental and physical factors of the school space in intensifying students anxiety and to formulate guidelines for designing schools that are tailored to the specific characteristics of teens in high school. This is an applied qualitative and descriptive -analytical paper. Data was collected using library sources, existing documents and relevant books and websites. Firstly, the theoretical foundations related to the subject were studied; then effective factors in the design of educational spaces with an emphasis on reducing anxiety in the students are classified and finally a checklist for designing these spaces for designers and architects has been presented. Observing these issues in the architecture of educational spaces can play a significant role in reducing students anxiety.
