Abstract:

The paper evaluates the accuracy of reinforced soil model using dynamic finite difference program FLAC.2d and compares it to laboratory results with shaking table, by M.shoari 2007, and discusses use of carpet excelsior as a reinforcement material. Reinforced and non-reinforced slopes were modeled by mohr-colomb elastoplastic model and by assuming plane strain, and the effect of moisture and slope angle changes under equal input acceleration was studied and the results were compared to laboratory results. And finally, the reliability of numerical analysis results in practical situations was determined.
