Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between transformational leadership,procedural justice and psychological empowerment, organizational commitment and jobsatisfaction. Data from 117 employees were collected from some educational organizationslocated in Semnan, Iran. The impact of transformational leadership on procedural justice, alldimensions of psychological empowerment, organizational commitment and job satisfactionwas proved in this study. Transformational leadership behaviors should be further consideredby leaders and training should include programs that educate future leaders about proceduraljustice and how it relates to behaviors of followers, especially in terms of empowerment,satisfaction and commitment. This study contributes to the literature by examining therelationships among transformational leadership, procedural justice, all dimensions ofpsychological empowerment, organizational commitment, job satisfaction in the Iraniancontext. Implication for both researchers and practitioners is also discussed in detail. Thecausal relationships among the factors of this study could be explained comprehensively. Inaddition, by including other factors, which are influenced by transformational leadership, themodel could be particularly developed.
