خلاصه مقاله:
Current management protocol for children with blunt solid organ injury to the liver and spleen needs serial monitoring of the child’s hemoglobin and hematocrit every 6, 12, or 24 hours, depending on the injury grade. We propose serial monitoring of hemoglobin and hematocrit is not necessary routinely so we decided that we study this subject in a systematic review. We review all articles from 2005-2018about monitoring of hemoglobin and hematocrit following blunt solid organ injury in children. However currently serial monitoring of hemoglobin and hematocrit is done for conservative or interventional management we found clinical manifestation is more beneficial than laboratory monitoring. Therefore, basic hemoglobin and hematocrit should be checked on admission time and based on hemodynamic status management should be determined. And monitoring of hemoglobin and hematocrit every six hours is not necessary.
