Abstract:

Background: Hepatitis B and C are the most common blood-borne infection are the expression of which is to be acute or chronic. This study examines the role of alcohol in the transmission and complications of the disease. Materials and Methods: This study was carried out by searching Scopus, PubMed, google scholar with the keyword hepatitis, chronic, alcohol, blood-borne, infection was conducted from 2013 to 2018. The number of primary articles by eliminating common cases of Articles 33 and 18 have been finalized. Results: According to recent studies, consumers of alcohol are more prone to high-risk sexual relations, and this is one of the ways of transmission of hepatitis. In several articles, the probability of the effect of alcohol on hepatitis Chronicity was investigated. Conclusion: This study showed that the consumption of alcoholic drinks is effective in the transmission of hepatitis and its complications on the body, especially the liver. But strong reasons for hepatitis B Chronicity was not found to influence it. It is suggested that the relationship between these factors investigate in future studies.
