Abstract:
In this paper, Fe, Ce and Ti metals were subjected to the zeolite structure using post-synthesis treatment and identified by FT-IR, XRD, FESEM, EDX, BET spectroscopy techniques. Figure 1a showed the presence of peaks in related to CeO2 and Fe2O3 which demonstrated the insertion of metals in zeolite structure. Fig. 1b, c shows FESEM and EDS analysis of catalyst which proved the preservation of zeolite structure with cubo-octahedral units based on metal doping. The improved photocatalytic activity was investigated in the photodegradation of 4-Nitrophenol [1,2]. Photocatalytic activity of this system depends on the catalyst loading, H2O2 content, pH, 4-Nitrophenol concentration and temperature effect [3]. The COD results reveal that 4-NP was degraded to simple materials. Pseudo-first order kinetic was suggested for photodegradation reaction
