Fall detection system via smart phone and send people location

As societies industrialize and fertility declines, the population of elderly people is increasing, and by 2050 nearly 16% of the world s population will be over 65 years. Falling is the second leading cause of serious injury to the elderly. Nowadays everyone has smartphones and these phones have significant features. Gyroscopes, accelerometers, and GPS can be used to monitor people, and if they fall, report the severity of their impact and location on a mobile phone. The proposed system has been able to detect a fall using the iPhone s sensor and report the position of the person with a accuracy of 96.33%.
