Abstract:

Nowadays, measuring the success of organizations in utilizing existing equipment, comparing their performance with each other, identifying inefficient organizations and identifying inefficient sources, examining strengths and weaknesses and analyzing them, and presenting a suitable strategy for improving the situation, from the concerns of managers and authorities. Therefore, in the refining and petrochemical industry, it is necessary to use the RCFA method to investigate and analyze the root of these equipment in order to identify the cause of inefficiency or their strengths. In this research, the statistical population consisted of a high-speed centrifugal pumps which had the highest failure rates in the past year and ten experts from the South Pars Refinery, which specializes in repairs. We use high speed pump in aerospace fields and industrial sectors, high-speed pumps are prevalent and in increasingly strict demand regarding characteristics such as the long life, small volume, light weight, and low noise. After identifying the devices, we identified the troubles that may occurred for each high speed pump with the help of ten experts. then analyzed using the method of analysis. We measured the logical weights and we determined the criteria according to the order of their weight and then we selected the first three criteria by means of the hierarchical analysis process(AHP) and we ranked the importance of weight accordingly. According to the results We have provided suggestions for eliminating the root failure of these rotary devices, in order to improve the economy and prevent waste of time, energy and financial and human costs in the South Pars gas refinery and finally in the industry.
