Graphene functionalized semicarbazide (GO@SC) was prepared from the reaction of graphene oxide and semicarbazide. GO@SC removed Eriochrom black T dye from water efficiently. The effect of pH, amounts of adsorbent, initial concentration of dye and time of contact between dye and adsorbent, on the adsorption efficiency, were studied.
