Abstract:

This study reports a novel ternary nanohybrid (HPBCD@Fe3O4@PU). First Hydroxypropyl-B-cyclodextrin (HPBCD) was synthesized. Because it is the better absorbent in comparison with B-cyclodextrin(BCD) due to existence of more OH groups. Then nanoparticle of Fe3O4 was synthesized and coupled to HPBCD (HPBCD.Fe3O4) because of increasing efficiency and easier separation by magnet. This compound was used as dye absorbent and elimination of it via inclusion between absorbent and dye. Then polyurethane was coupled to previous compound (HPBCD. Fe3O4) for more efficiency and our final product was obtained a mixture of Hydroxypropyl-B-cyclodextrin, nanoparticle of Fe3O4 and polyurethane (HPBCD. Fe3O4.pu). That being absorbent and elimination of dye impurity was investigated. The dyes that elimination of them was investigated were crystal violet and methyl violet. The absorbent yield of crystal violet with final synthesized compound HPBCD. Fe3O4.pu was obtained 93.03% and for methyl violet with HPBCD. Fe3O4.pu was obtained 96.58% . As can be expected the absorbent efficiency got better in every stage of modification and elimination of dye impurity was done correctly.
