Abstract:
Climate change is one of the major global problems that has several impacts on ecosystem.Agricultural sector is exposed to extreme events. Climate change will exacerbate the problems ofagricultural sector, especially in developing countries. Climate change affects agricultural productionand farmers. In Iran agricultural activities play an operative role in economy. Iran’s agriculture willmeet serious challenges due to increasing temperature and water scarcity. Adaptation strategy can be asuitable remedy for extreme climate events. Farmers should use appropriate adaptation activities inresponse towards climate change. This review paper has highlighted the impacts of climate change onagriculture in different countries.
