Abstract:
This study develops a multidimensional model for high school design in Iran. This model has six main aspects: formal, functional, psychological, socio-cultural, technologicaland ecological, as well as subgroups under each of these aspects. The priorities of the architectural principles under each aspect of the model were evaluated in a closedquestionnaire by LIKERT scale. In each question, the importance of one design principle is asked. The architects who are employed in the National Organization ofDevelopment and Renovation of Schools in Iran filled the questionnaires. The data is analyzed by Exploratory Factor Analysis method. Based on the data analysis, the finalmodel for high school design and the prioritization of the principles are concluded.
