Abstract:

In tissue engineering, scaffolding is a three-dimensional structure that is used as a framework for directing cells and is an alternative to extracellular matrix. The cells penetrate into the scaffold and begin to grow, differentiate, proliferate and migrate according to the physical and chemical signals surrounding them, and, if appropriate, the extracellular matrix and secrete new tissue. They create. The science of tissue engineering deals with the construction of suitable scaffolds for implanting cells, creating and maintaining favorable environmental conditions for cell viability, thereby controlling all the factors contributing to the formation of new tissue. The most important features in tissue engineering are the uniform scattering of cells within the scaffold and the creation of a homogenous structure for transplantation into the body. Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine are emerging as new approaches to the treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Many clinical conditions today include congenital disorders, trauma, infection, inflammation, and cancer, in which tissue damage is not yet effectively treated. Researchers are constantly developing new biological materials and tissue engineering technologies to stimulate tissue regeneration. Different emerging approaches are identified with regard to organs, tissues, diseases and disorders. Biological engineering materials are needed to regenerate and eventually reproduce physiological, biological, chemical and mechanical properties. Biodegradable materials are widely used as restorative methods. Selection, design, biological and physicochemical properties of these substances are important and should be considered to stimulate tissue growth. In this review, we review recent advances in degradable and degradable materials for tissue regeneration of some target organs.
