DETERMINATION OF THE CHARACTERISTICS MECHANISM OF DST DRUG ABUSING RECOVERY METHOD ON THE PREVENTION OF RELAPSE

Background and Aim : Relapse is one of the worst problem in the field of drug addiction treatment. Anxiety , stress ,depression ,feeling the pain , diarrhea , early ejaculation , inappropriate treatment with family members , to meet the other drug users and/or other drug using symptoms are the main reasons for relapse among persons who are drug cutting off. Methadone and other antagonist/agonist drugs can decrease many withdrawal symptoms , but it can cause many side effects as sexual difficulties and Cardiovascular disorders.Methods : The main aim of this study was to determine the effect of each one of DST treatment method factors as like as consumption of opium tincture 3 time daily , sport , existence of a leader for addict and his/her the closest person in the family and taking part in the education of deep thinking , behavior and world-view etc...samples were 500 addict who had used DST method previously. they completed appropriate questionnaires and explain their opinion about the effectiveness of DST therapeutic component. Each of questions were graded from 0 to 10Results : The result showed that % 88/4are drug free , but %11/6 of them consumed drugs .Opium syrup that can reduce physical and psychological symptoms has 8/85 points out of 10. Existence of the guide for addict and his/her family with 8/5 points of 10 . World-view education can change in opinion towards life issues , received 9/2 points. opium syrup consumption , 3 times daily can prevent of withdrawal symptoms during recovery .It takes 9/4 points and sport as an effectiveness factor for increasing of body and mental health level with 9/2 pointsConclusion : These results showed that addicted need to many equipments including an effectiveness alternative drug as opium tincture . spiritual and mental education for both addicted and his / her family by two leaders separately. Recommendation of 3 time consumption of opium tincture , daily. physical activity , that all are component of an drug addiction rehabilitation system named DST method , which is used for two decades in congress 60 NGO in IRAN
