Abstract:

Background and Aim : In our country services to reduce the risk of drug addiction have already been provided through drop-in centers and mobile teams. Despite the high cost of the centers and the wide range of problems associated with drug use and high-risk sexual behaviors, these services are available in a limited number. in many areas it is not possible to provide these services. in March 2018, the launch of a mobile rescue clinic was proposed to solve this problem, and the first mobile clinic was launched in the form of a mobile van in Mashhad. The most important goal of the outreach program is to reach out to crowds of high-risk behaviors such as injecting drug use A mobile rescue is an approach for injecting drug users who do not go to the harm reduction center, and we should go where they are, and provide harm reduction services and training to reduce their high-risk behaviors. The mobile center is a good option for facilitating access to high-risk consumers in places where their assembly sites are fast moving, and high-risk consumers are often in the afternoon and night at that location. The mobile center has one peer (who can also be a mobile driver in the clinic) and one health professional mobile center provides all the services of the drop -in center, except mmt works 6 days a week and 8 hours a day. The Clinical Activity Mobile Route is based on the hangout map. The stopping time for hangouts is determined by population size of 1 to 2 hours. The number of hangouts to serve in a shift is 4 Services harm-reduction package Distribute and encourage the use of condoms harm reduction training a new approach to HIV education HIV testing and referral of positive cases active tuberculosis screening and referral of suspected cases Syndromic screening of sexually transmitted diseases and referral of suspected cases Wound dressing Supportive services In 2018, the Mobile Clinic served 1,373 people 17474 syringes and 9980 condoms were distributed Hiv rapid test was performed for 2096 people One hiv positive and 11 suspected tuberculosis were detected
