Abstract:

Background and Aim : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of cognitive-emotional training on self-differentiation and psychological capital of substance abuse subjects. Since the cognitive processes of emotion regulation are impaired in addicts, and consequently, these individuals are faced with a marked decline in their self-differentiation and psychological capital, this research can be used as a practical way to treat and rehabilitate People are abusing.Methods : The present study is an experimental one that uses pre-test and post-test design with control group. A total of 30 drug addicts were selected by random sampling and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. Results : The results showed that cognitive-emotional training can be effective in promoting the psychological capital and self-differentiation of people dependent on drugs. Conclusion : Due to the fact that those who are dependent on the material are exposed to negative emotions and are not properly adjusted, therefore, in such situations, the chance of slipping and recurrence increases. Therefore, teaching cognitive emotion management skills can increase the level of control in such situations
