Abstract:
Nowadays, hashtags analysis is one of the common ways to find the sentiment of social media content. On the other hand, Appraisal Theory is the formidable way for satisfying our purposes, and with this theory, we can extract attitude and more information about the user s opinion. We use the Hashtag Cooccurrence Graph and graph embedding methods to find attitudes toward social events that are controversial in the social network. In this paper, we apply our method on Iran VS Japan football game on the AFC Cup 2019 event. Because of Iran loose this match, Iranian attitudes change about the national football team. We compare tweets a week before and after the match. Our experiments show a significant change in attitude toward Iranian users
