Introduction & Objective: Pressure ulcer is one of the most common complications in hospitalized patients in intensive care units. Pressure ulceris the third most expensive disease after cancer and cardiovascular disease. It is in specialty units that, in addition to delaying recovery, incurs a great deal of costs to the patient and family, so preventing pressure ulcers is a top priority in long-term care and is the most important care method for These wounds are also dressing. The purpose of this study is to show the quality of dressing in healing of pressure ulcers.Materials and Methods: This study is a review by searching for words such as dressing, pressure ulcer, intensive care unit, Tehran in Persian databases: civilica, sid, magiran, irandoc. Finally, 12 cases were related to the main topic and were investigated.Results: The prevalence of pressure ulcers in intensive care units is higher than other wards, which is due to the low safety of patients in this ward.According to studies, factors such as sensory perception, moisture, activity and wear are directly related to pressure ulcers.Conclusion: According to the studies, the quality of nursing care has been considered as a key factor in the prevention of pressure ulcer and attention to the factors causing bed wounds before hospitalization can be effective in identifying patients at risk and reducing bed wounds.
