Abstract:

Introduction: Gamma Interferon is a pleiotropic cytokine that plays an important role in the response to the inherent and acquired host immune response against viral, bacterial, and tumorigenic infections. Other than regulating various biological activities and inhibiting tumor growth. Considering the significant increase in the incidence of lung cancer in Iran and throughout the world and the importance of immunotherapy as an approach in fighting against cancer, the changes in the IFN γ gene expression in patients with NSCLC have been investigated with the help of molecular methods. Thus, we can use the results for a novel and more effective immunotherapy.

Keywords:

Non- small cell lung cancer , gamma interferon , gene expression.
