Abstract:
The diaphragm is a musculofibrous structure that attaches to the end of ribs and vertebrae and separates the thoracic cavity from the abdominal cavity . A diaphragmatic hernia is the weakening or stretching of a hole in the diaphragm muscle that passes through the esophagus into the abdominal cavity, There are two main types of diaphragmatic hernia namely, congenital and acquired .also the congenital one rarely found in adults but it may remain asymptomatic surgeons associate DH with a disease requiring emergency surgical treatment. But minimally invasive surgery such as thorascopic and laprascopic has been used to repair adult DH..Case: here we presents a case of 65 years old female with complaints of regurgitation and abdominal discomfort
