Perineal granular cell tumor: a case report

Granular cell tumour is uncommon soft tissue tumour that may be located anywhere in the body; is only rarely located to the perineum. Most of time GCT is benign , which clinically resembles a fibroma and often solitary tumor , however some have tendency to recur locally, primary if the advancing edge of the tumor is infiltrative and it may be mistaken for a malignant growth. The authors report this case because they considered it an interesting case for the localization that may present diagnostic challenge to surgeons and pathologists.
