Data wasanalyzed by SPSS software. Results : The mean of pain severity before the use of virtual glasses was 4.87 ± 1.26 and theaverage pain intensity after using virtual glasses was 2.13 ± 1.32. The severity of pain after the useof virtual glasses was significantly lower (P = 0.028). Patients satisfaction for pain before the useof virtual glasses was 1.44 ± 0.52 and after using it was 3.20 ± 0.64, which indicates that patients satisfaction for pain reduction after using the virtual glasses has significantly increased (p = 0.033).Conclusion : Using virtual reality has a positive effect on pain relief in patients and can be usedin hospitals to reduce pain and increase their satisfaction.
