Abstract:

Background and Aim : Gestational diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is one of the common complications ofpregnancy that has increased from 10 to 100% over the past 20 years.And in Iran, this prevalence has beenreported from 3 to 1 to 6/18. Maternal complications can be of preeclampsia, incidence of cesarean section,risk of Diabetes mellitus type II in future and embryonic complications such as macrosomia, shoulderdystocia and Asphexia.Named. mothers exists and that the fetus And infant is dependent on vitamin Dlevels in the blood and breast milk, the presence of adequate stores of vitamin D is vital. The aim of thisstudy was to investigate the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and gestational diabetesMethods : The present study is a review study in which articles related to observation studies (descriptive,analytical) indexed in databases such as Iran Medex, Science Direct, SID, Google Scholar, Pubmed havebeen used.Results : Few studies have referred to the relationship between vitamin D and gestational diabetes and therelationship of Vit D3, and the risk of gestational diabetes is not clear.That has been reported in some directcommunication and in a number of inverted communicationConclusion : Today, it has been revealed that even in advanced countries, vitamin D deficiency is acommon of instantaneous, so considering the fetal and maternal complications of diabetes, reducing theprevalence and appropriate treatment is very important and recognizing its related factors can play animportant role in improving the conditions of pregnant women.
