Distribution and consumption of tonic breakfast in hospitalized children (under 15 years) in hospitals of Mazandaran province

Abstract:

Introduction: The aim of this study was to evaluate the frequency of consumption of three types of tonic breakfast in hospitalized children under 15 years old in Mazandaran hospitals based on nutritional criteria in hospitals . Methods :Data from the first trimester of the year 98 were collected on three types of breakfast breakfasts per 1000 children under the age of 15 admitted in 5 pediatric hospitals affiliated to Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences . Results: Response rate was 95% and 30% (330) of 1000 children under 15 years with mean age of 2 to 7 years 65% and 8% to 15 years 35% based on completing questionnaire to evaluate, analyze and analyze results.At the hospitals level :  Preparation, distribution and consumption of one type of breakfast (one third of barberry bread and 30 g of 2% fat and 2 walnuts) with a glass of 1.5% fat in the first breakfast was 45% .  The preparation and distribution and consumption of one type of breakfast (one third of barberry bread and one 10g vegetable butter and one 25g packaged honey) with a glass of 1.5% fat in the first breakfast was 25% .  The preparation and distribution and consumption of one type of breakfast (one third of bread and one egg of 60 g Nimro and one cucumber) with a glass of 1.5 fat milk at the first breakfast was 30% . Discussion and conclusion : Differences and Consistency in Frequency of Breakfast Consumption with Regular and Light Breakfasts with Formulation and Nutrition of Clinical Nutrition Experts of Deputy of Treatment and 5 Hospitals ofMazandaran University of Medical Sciences and Provided by Food Contractors in Public Hospitals Based on Price Completed by the Office of Management Development Support Contracts, the University Development Tender was implemented in the Tender of 98 and for children under the age of 15 hospitalized to improve nutrition and health of children at the time of hospitalization based on nutrition policy and criteria .
