Modeling Light Posts in Highway for Scattering of Electromagnetic Wave with Method of Moment

The proliferation of communication system used in and around man-made structures has resulted in growing need to determine the scattering properties of various commonly used structures in businesses and residential environment. This paper describes the calculation of scattered wave by parallel finite rods, modeling the light posts in highways. The paper is concentrated in the 900-MHz band used in the mobile communication systems. We use method of moment (MOM) to solve the wire currents. Scattered field versus scattered angle are shown.
