Abstract:

Introduction Ovarian Pregnancy is a type of ectopic pregnancy and often diagnosed after being symptomatic. Failure to diagnose and late treat may result in maternal death and the most important risk factor of it is the use of intrauterine contraceptives. The aim of this study was to report an ovarian ectopic pregnancy. Clinical case In this article we presented a 38-year-old woman (G5 L2 Ab2) with ovarian pregnancy. The common complaints were spotting and high βHCG titer 6283 (ectopic pregnancy with titer evidence). High βHCG titer and empty uterine cavity in transvaginal ultrasound sonography diagnosed and ectopic pregnancy confirmed. The patient was treated with methotrexate. Conclusion In women with delayed menstruation, abdominal pain, and irregular bleeding, one of the first diagnoses is ectopic pregnancy, and the patient should be evaluated by βHCG titer, ultrasound sonography and treated on the basis of clinical examination and evidence of par clinical.
