Abstract:
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is an intelligent software solution for managing business processes and integrating different parts of organization. ERP has become a strategic tool that facilitates the flow of functional information throughout the organization. The ERP systemsimplementation differs from other system implementations in different aspects including organizational impacts, user’s participation, cost, and business impact, therefore, successful implementation of these systems is challenging. Organizations for successful implementationneed to study the critical success factors. Hence, this study aims to identify the critical success factors of ERP implementation. Therefore, through a comprehensive literature review, a conceptual model was developed and analyzed based on data collected from 180 users of ERPsystem at a large Aluminum manufacturing organization. The results of the study indicated that perceived ease of use, functionality, perceived usefulness and intention to use were the most significant factors that were effective on the successful implementation of ERP systems
