Abstract:

Mesenchymal stromal cells MSCs are multi-potent stem cells with differentiate potential to more tissues such as fat, bone, and cartilage . They have the ability to implant at the site of damaged tissue and to repair these areas by proliferation and dividing into specific cells. For this reason, they are of particular importance in regenerative medicine. It is believed that this healing feature is mediated by secreting survival factors and releasing extracellular vesicles EVs such as exosomes. The EVs are important mediators of intercellular communication and regulators of the cellular niche, and also they are important both for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes using EVs as drug delivery vehicles . In addition, the EVs are able to cross biological barriers without rejection can shuttle bioactive molecules from one cell to another, causing the exchange of genetic information and reprogramming of the recipient cells. This review is an overview of EVs released from the MSCs that have been promising approach for use in cell-free therapies rather than using native and engineered stem cells, because EVs do not have the risks and limitations of cellbased therapies.
