Abstract:

In the present research, KTP nanocrystals have been synthesized by co-precipitation method using PVA as capping agent. The effect of PVA mole ratio on size and morphology of KTP nanocrystals was studied. Different mole ratios of PVA with respect to titanium ion (1:1, 2:1 and 3:1) were used as growth kinetics controller parameter. Obtained nanoparticles were studied by XRD and FE-SEM analyses. Studies showed smallest grain size (19.5) and largest lattice strains (0.005) were obtained by 3:1 and 2:1 mole ratios of PVA respectively. PDI and average particle size were measured using FE-SEM images. Different used mole ratios of PVA showed various morphologies for obtained nanoparticles.
