Traces of concepts that bear resemblances to modern artificial intelligence ideas can be found in Iranian mythology. These similarities are evident in tales like Jamshid and the Simurgh, KAI Khara, Huma, the Giant, and myths like Jam and Jamshid, the Simurgh, and the Divs. Examining these concepts and symbols can lay the groundwork for a deeper conversation about artificial intelligence, its repercussions for humanity, and the path ahead.
