BEHROOZ KHADEM received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics from Tehran University, Tehran, Iran, in 1991 and the M.S. degree in applied mathematics from Shahid Bahonar University, Kerman, Iran, in 1995 and received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics, Kharazmi University, Tehran, Iran in the area of Chaos-based cryptography in 2015. From 2000 until now he is a lecturer in the Imam Hossein Comprehensive University, Tehran,Iran. His research interest includes the data security and cryptography. He has published over 50 research articles in reputed refereed journals and conference proceedings of IEEE/Springer/Elsevier. His areas of research interests include, but are not limited to applied mathematics, algorithms and complexity, computer security, chaos-based cryptography, applied cryptanalysis, security of communication networks, artificial intelligence and machine learning for security, image processing, and optimization techniques. He has served as reviewer and technical program committee member of many journals and conferences.
