Abstract:

The purpose of this research was to examine the effects of employees’ attitudes (job satisfaction, work engagement, and organizational commitment) on turnover intention. A total of 639 data sets derived from staff nurses working in the private healthcare sector of Malaysia were used to analyze the hypotheses. Results of the statistical analyses using Partial Least Squares (PLS) revealed that of the three forms of attitudes, only one (organizational commitment) was found to have a negative effect on turnover intention. Finally, limitations, future research suggestions, implications, and conclusion of the study are discussed.
