Study of the Soil Permeability and the Resulted Liquefaction

In geotechnical studies, the permeability coefficient is determined for achieving goals such as determination of the amount of water leakage, estimation of rock mass erodibility, estimation of rock mass injectability, estimation of soil particles interaction, estimation of soil mass injectability and soil drainage system design using Lugeon(in stone layers) and Lefranctests (in alluvial layers). This article shows that the soil liquefaction phenomenon is resulted from soil permeability and is dependent to the bearing and physical characteristics of the soil which are controlled by the recommended methods.
