Abstract:
Thermoplastic elastomers are known as the polymeric materials which exhibit the elastic and mechanical properties of cross-linked rubbers as well as the melt processability of thermoplastics. In this study nanocompositesbased on (polypropylene (PP)/styrene butadiene rubber (SBR)/multi wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT)) were prepared through using different feeding sequences in melt mixing method. The effect of using MWCNT and mixing procedureon structure and morphology of nanocoposites were investigated. The morphology of the prepared nanocomposites was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and correlated with mixing rheological behavior.
