Abstract:
Melanoma is the sixth most common US cancer diagnosis. Adjuvant radiation reduces primary and regional nodal recurrence in selected patient populations and for its use for palliation of unresectable primary and nodal recurrences or distant metastasis.Angiosarcoma uncommon aggressive, usually fatal neoplasm. Radiotherapy should be considered postoperatively in an effort to enhance local control.Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans is a rare soft tissue sarcoma local aggressive but low metastatic potential. Radiotherapy can use selectively in a number of cases.Merkel cell carcinoma is a rare and aggressive tumor of neuroendocrine origin. Adjuvant radiotherapy offers a substantial benefit in both time to recurrence and disease-free survival.Microcystic adnexal carcinoma is an aggressive, locally destructive cutaneous appendageal neoplasm. Radiotherapy is not more efficient.Skin benign diseases such as keloid, Plantar warts, keratoacanthomas, desmoid tumors, cutaneous hemangiomas are indicated for radiotherapy.
