Abstract:
This paper presents the results of anexperimental investigation of power generation fromlow-grade heat sources based on an organic Rankinecycle (ORC). Isopentane was used as the ORCworking fluid in this study. The heated water withnatural gas was used as the low-grade heat source.Experiments were conducted to evaluate theperformance of the developed system at heat sourcetemperatures less than 85 °C.
