Abstract:

Texture engineering is a relatively new approach that reconstructs the texture given by using the scaffolds designed, growth factors and special cells. The texture engineering aims at displacing the deficient texture with biological alternatives able to return or retain the natural function of the texture. In texture engineering, scaffolds generate a proper physical space so as to embed in it the cells, thus encouraging the generation of new texture by exchanging the biological molecules. Then, the scaffolds are gradually eliminated, being fully replaced by the new texture. In this regard, many biologically-degradable polymers and various construction methods are used for providing the engineering scaffolds of texture. Therefore, the structural and materialistic design of scaffolds are one of the most original solutions to achieve a proper way of recoverable treatments. The objective of these composite materials is to increase the stiffness and bioactivity by using non-organic biologically active fillers, while retaining the useful properties of polymers such as flexibility and deformability under the load. In this research, the compressive strength of Nano-composite bio- glass gelatin scaffolds was compared and investigated by porous viscoelastic model using ABAQUS.
