Abstract:
In this study, the preparation of novel ruthenium bis(tetra (2,3-diphenylpyrazino) porphyrazine) (6), ruthenium bis(tetra (2,3-dihydrodibenzo[f,h]quinoxalino)porphyrazine) (7) and ruthenium bis-phthalocyanine 8 was achieved. The premade α-dicyano compounds in the presence of ruthenium chloride created desired ruthenium diporphyrazines (Ru-dipz) in a one-pot and double cross cyclotetramerization reaction. The resulted diporphyrazine, in comparison to our previously reported work, revealed remarkable Q-band shifts in UV-Vis spectra.
