Abstract:

Multicomponent reactions are performed without need to isolate any intermediate during the reaction, which reduce the amount of time and energy used. There has been tremendous development in three or four component reactions. 1-amidoalkyl-2-naphthol derivatives have been attracted considerable interest because of their biological and pharmacological activities. In this work, a new strategy has been introduced for the preparation of 1-amidoalkyl-2- naphtols. In this regards, Trichloro (trifluoromethanesulfonato) titanium(IV) has been synthesized. Therefore a variety of 1-amidoalkyl-2-naphtols have been prepared via combination of aromatic aldehydes, acetamide and 2-naphtol in the ]OTf) and 3presence of a catalytic amounts ([TiCl C.0 100([Bmim]Br)
