Abstract:

Background and Aim:ITP (Iranian Tissue Product Co) Acellular Dermis, freeze-dried membrane is comprised of type 1 collagen fibers which are bioresorbable, so it needs no removal surgery.Methods:This membrane has mechanical strength and resistance to tearing. Because of its flexibility & adhesive properties, it can be easily adapted to the defect size and wound dressing. Afterwards, the membrane was rinsed by circulating triple-distilled water in order to remove previously additive materials, in order to be prepared for lyophilizing in −70°C. Eventually, the resulting membrane was packed in sterile packages and sent for radiation with25 KGy Gamma rays.Results and Conclusion:Acellular Dermis membrane (ADM). Acellular dermis membrane is an allograft tissue that is chemically processed to remove all epidermal and dermal cells while preserving the remaining bioactive dermis membrane. It works by providing a bioactive membrane consisting of collagens, elastin, and bioactive proteins that support revascularization, cell proliferation, and tissue remodeling. This material is considered to be a .safe and good treatment choice alternative instead of autograft.
